Released Value Protection (No Additional Charge):

This coverage option, mandated by the state and federal government, provides compensation for damaged items based on their weight, valued at $0.60 per pound. For example, a damaged TV weighing 20 pounds would be compensated up to $12.00 for repair or replacement.

Full Value Protection (Additional Cost):

For those seeking extra protection, our Full Value Protection coverage ensures that Artisan Movers is liable for the replacement value of any lost or damaged goods in your entire shipment. Under this coverage, we will repair, replace, or provide a cash settlement for items up to their current market replacement value, rather than their weight.

Cost of Full Value Protection:

Full Value Protection is available at an additional cost, calculated at a rate of 0.89% of the total declared value. For instance, $50,000 of declared value would cost $445 (50,000 x 0.0089).

Full Value Protection Terms:

1. A detailed inventory of high-value assets exceeding $100 per pound must be submitted by the customer.
2. The declared value of your shipment must be a minimum of $5 per pound of the estimated weight of your shipment. For example, if your shipment weighs 3,000 pounds, the declared value must be set at a minimum of $15,000 (3,000 x $5).

1 Bedroom Apartment:

– Weight: 3,500 lbs
– Cost: $75 – $150

2 Bedroom Home:

– Weight: 5,000 – 7,000 lbs
– Cost: $125 – $350

3 Bedroom Home:

– Weight: 8,000 – 12,000 lbs
– Cost: $200 – $600
